AREA BEACHES WE LIKE TO GO TO:
There are quite a few nice beaches to choose from, all within 20 minutes of driving distance.
The ones we like to go to are:
The Yacht Club Community Park, Cape Coral

The Yacht Club Community Park is located directly on the Caloosahatchee River in a beautifully landscaped setting. The public beach
offers visitors 634 feet of pristine beach with picnic shelters, BBQ grills, restrooms, fishing pier, playground area and restaurant. Other
on site amenities include free racquetball courts, shuffleboard courts, and horseshoe pits.
Lynn Hall Memorial Park, Fort Myers Beach

A family affair.  There's a huge parking lot. Cost is 75 cents for hour.
Features a playground for the kids, fishing pier, picnic huts, benches, information kiosk and loads of shops and restaurants..
The bathrooms are being kept clean throughout the day and lockers are also available
Tarpon Bay Road Beach, Sanibel Island

Features lots of parking - even for large vehicles -
Great large and wide beach.  High sand quality, good shelling. New restrooms.
You will need to bring your own picnic basket and cooler.  There are no restaurants or kiosks at this beach.
